I was asked to advise my client after a court made an order that he pay his former partner £105,000 so that she could buy a house for herself and her daughter.

This was an order that the court should never have made. We successfully appealed and my client agreed to provide accommodation for his daughter until she was 18 when the money used to purchase a home for her would be repaid to him.

Without this successful appeal he would have lost most of his assets.
